M-WraP Tablets utilize a two-pronged approach to eliminate infection:
- Rifaximin (200 mg): This antibiotic works by binding to the bacterial enzyme RNA polymerase, which stops the bacteria from producing essential proteins. This halts their growth and replication, allowing the body to clear the infection. Its action is almost exclusively confined to the gut.
